Information regarding the Black Looks portable exhibition for use in school, museums and the wider community.

Good news for Foothold UK Ltd. New portable exhibition in prospect.

We have recently received an award from The Baudouin Foundation, which will enable us to create a new portable football project outlining the history of women's football in the UK.
‘A picture paints a thousand words’- A history of women’s football in the United Kingdom (1890-2011).

Portable Exhibition
For many years, I battled with the practical problems associated with displaying original artwork in schools and community settings. In 2003 I solved the problem by creating a portable ‘Black Looks’ exhibition. This was made possible by funding from the National lottery and the Football Foundation.
The portable exhibition has space for the display of fifty pieces of original artwork, although I prefer to show twenty-five to thirty pieces of work with corresponding information panels. Supplementary artwork can also be displayed in print bins, alongwith photographic material, books and magazines. With its modular display system, the portable exhibition can be displayed in a variety of locations, making contact with new audiences.
