Start of an interesting 2010

World Cup- South Africa
With air -fares finally tumbling back to a normal tourist price, I was able to visit South Africa for ten days, staying mostly in Johannesburg. See a small selection of photographs with new artwork in the pipeline.
Great country and great people.

Parkhurst 'leafy suburb'

I have also taken a selection of photographs around my own stomping grounds of Birmingham, interesting contrast and comparison.

I recently worked with Coventry Artspace on a '7 Schools' mural project.

The brief also included a ten- week artclub programme.
I taught at Limbrick Wood Primary School, the children were a delight to work with.

Recent display of the portable Black Looks exhibition with workshops at Winstanley Community College in Leicester. Lovely students and staff.

Easter Workshops at Barr's Hill School and Community College (April 2010)
Flower bouquets, lanterns and door tags-hurrah!

Travelled down to Folkestone for Phil Vasili's book launch, a great new
publication on Walter Tull's life . After many years Phil you've finally accomplished
Tull's biography. Shame on all you publishers, professional football organisations
and the awfull BBC.

Very pleased with my first attempt at curating a major exhibition
The 'State of Play' -'Score is silver, Art is gold' was a resounding success.

Private View

My young nieces Rebecca and Heather adding glamour and beauty to proceedings!

Completed a project at Kingsthorne Primary School in Kingstanding Birmingham,
working with a range of youngsters on a six week artclub.
The youngsters created a series of paintings based on the Football World Cup
in South Africa. The artwork will hopefully be displayed in the school.

After the demise of the Coventry Rugby Club, I am now working back at The Ricoh
Stadium ( PFS centre) for two evenings per week. I'm enjoying working with old and
new colleagues.

Latest Artwork: Legendary Football manager 'Brian Clough'. (Yes young man!)
